Who it is for

This is behavioral threat assessment training for clinicians.

This threat assessment training is for psychologists, counselors, social workers and other clinicians who assess and manage the risk that someone will harm others.

You learn how targeted violence develops. You learn what to look for along the way, and what to do once you find it.

This is clinical education, not certification in a specific instrument and not law-enforcement or security training.

What it covers

The course teaches four things you will use with clients.

1

The five major risk domains They come from 30 school-shooting case studies. We show how convergence across them changes the picture.

2

Leakage and warning behaviors What they look like in what clients say, write, and post. What to do when you find them.

3

A structured framework It turns findings from several informants into a risk formulation you can defend.

4

From recognition to action What to document, who to involve, and how coordinated intervention starts.

Who built it

The course comes from a licensed psychologist’s research.

The course is taught from the research of Dr. Robert Moore, Licensed Psychologist (HSP), who created the HTS and HSRA. Those are the psychometric violence-risk instruments used on the Homicide Zero tool platform.

He has spent 500 hours in threat assessment interviews with at-risk individuals and their families.

Every lesson is grounded in a 30-case evidence corpus and peer-reviewed clinical literature, authored with a credentialed subject-matter expert as instructor of record. About the team
